The Holy incarnation day, Falgun Shukla Dwitiya, of Sri Sri Ramakrishna is celebrated with great grandeur in every centre of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission.
Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama also celebrate it as the same grandity as other branch centres of Belur Math.
At dawn Sadhus and Bramhacharies chant Vedic mantras after the Mangal Aratrika. A special puja of Sri Sri Guru Maharaj and Homa are performed and a lot of people, almost 15 thousand, take lunch prasad. In the afternoon a spiritual convention is also arranged with the presence of distinguished speakers and Swamis of our centre as well as guest Maharajas of other centres.
In the evening Sandhya Arartrika is performed as every day.
There is also some cultural programme such as Yatra, Samkirtana etc. arranged as a part of the celebration.
